Ms Tran Le Xuan, Ngo Dinh Nhu's wife, a government adviser in southern Vietnam before liberation, died yesterday in Italy. Truong Phu Thu lawyers, who have regular contact with Ms. Le Xuan, said Ms. Tran Le Xuan died in a hospital in Rome over at 2 am, aged 87.

Tran Le Xuan was born in 1924, Ngo Dinh Nhu married in 1943 and improved from Buddhism to Catholicism. Need advice for his brother Ngo Dinh Diem, head of government in South Vietnam from 1955 to 1963.
Ms Tran Le Xuan has many activities on the site during the said, as president of a women's organization promoting the adoption of laws related to such issues as abortion, adultery, contests, boxing ... She also is said to support legislation to close brothels and opium drive.
By Diem husband is not married and her family live in the Independence Palace, so she is often seen as the Spring of first lady at that time.
May 11/1963, when a coup overthrew the Diem-Nhu regime occurs leading to the two men were assassinated, Xuan and her daughter was in the U.S.. She then lived for some time to Italy. The later years, her quiet life in French Spring in an apartment near the center of Paris.
Ms. Spring has four children, including daughter was Ngo Dinh Le Thuy was killed in a traffic accident in France.
According to a newspaper of the Vietnamese overseas, Xuan are writing memoirs, published in December may 9 or 10 years.
